The Ghetto Reconsidered: Minority and Ethnic Quarters in Text and Images<\/h4>\n

On the occasion of the 500th Anniversary of the establishment of the Venice Ghetto\u00a0(1516) by a decree of the\u00a0Serenissima, the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari\u00a0presents a conference on minority urban and national space. In collaboration with the university’s Department for the Study of\u00a0Asia and Mediterranean Africa, the\u00a0Department of Humanities and\u00a0the international research network\u00a0CNRS Socioanthropologie des Juda\u00efsmes\/Universit\u00e9 Toulouse 2 Jean Jaur\u00e9s, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree \u2018MIM – Crossing the Mediterranean towards Investment and Integration.<\/p>\n
