As the Holocaust becomes increasingly present in the political discourse in the US, Europe and Israel, we republish this reflection by Emiliano Perra written in 2010. The article surveys the transformation of the public image of the Holocaust during the last decade of the 20th century and the first of the 21st, a period marked by significant cultural and political changes, including the rise to mainstream government position of the political heirs of Fascism.
