Join us at Kehila Kedosha Janina for to Qabbalat Shabbat to honor the memory and celebrate the life of the Jews who were killed during the Fascist and Nazi persecution.
During Shabbat service prayers will be offered to the victims and candles will be lit in their memory.
Giorno della Memoria is held under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, the Casa Italiana Zerilli Marimo’ at NYU, the John D. Calandra Institute at CUNY, the Italian Academy at Columbia University and the Scuola d’Italia “G. Marconi,” and RAI Corporation.
